About

I’m Christophe Zidler, an Art Director and Motion Designer based in Paris, France. I’ve been working as a freelancer for over 12 years, collaborating with clients such as Microsoft, Vogue, Toyota, Sisley, Renault, and many others across studios, agencies, and startups.

My work covers a wide range of motion and visual design projects, including 3D motion pieces, explainer videos, animated UI prototypes for web and apps, cinemagraphs, mixed-media visuals, 2D and 3D illustrations, digital screen content, and conference intro films.

Depending on the project, I work across different tools and workflows, mainly using After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Cinema 4D with Octane. I’ve also been incorporating AI tools more and more into my process, using them as a space for experimentation, research, and new creative directions.

I don’t follow a single visual style. I like exploring different techniques and approaches depending on the project, which is why my portfolio moves between animated typography, 3D characters, more graphic compositions, and cleaner visual systems. One recurring element in my work is my interest in seamless looping animations — I’ve always been drawn to their hypnotic quality and visual precision.
